HEY HEY HEY! Nope - its not a scooter that needs rego etc. Its not a road vehicle. Because of its mobility aid considerations helmet laws don't apply though NZ law is a quandary as NZTA don't have a category for them. Also for FUN off-road and private land use.

The Fat-Rat goes like the clappers easily doing 35 to 45kph. Its is full on fun - even better than it looks. I use mine (bad knees) for everything. Visiting friends. Shopping. Banking runs.
You more of a Lone-Ranger? Too easy - remove passenger seat. Gives the scooter a really mean look too. Oorrrrr....I have a model as pictured set-up from factory with a single seat only.
