Note please the law in NZ around passengers on mobility scooters : 

• Passengers  It's not safe to carry passengers unless the scooter has a factory double seat fitted. 

As you will note this is a tandem (in-line) factory fitted two seater. Better... because it is tandem it also doesn't go over-width unlike side by side units.
